After the success of the first Ministry of Sound nights appearing exclusively at Beijing Club, the internationally known club brand will be returning to the three storey super-club on the 24th July (Thursday) 2008 and will have a subsequent residency at Beijing Club.

Who are you biggest current influences, and who were your initial influences when you first got into music?
My initial influences for production/DJing were Alex Reece, Wax Doctor, PFM, LTJ Bukem, Adam F, Photek, Fabio, Grooverider, Frost, Bryan G, Omni Trio, Flyronix, Roni Size, DJ Die etc etc.

UK indie-rock band The Kooks will be performing live in Hong Kong for the first time ever on August 21, 2008 at the HITEC Star Hall.
The Kooks consists of singer/guitarist Luke Pritchard, lead guitarist Hugh Harris, bassist Dan Logan and drummer Paul Garred. They have released 2 studio albums; both achieved remarkable success on the UK Albums Chart. Their 2006 debut album “Inside In / Inside Out” peaked at No.2 with a worldwide sales over 2 million copies, and their 2008 follow up “Konk” went straight to No. 1 on the UK Album Chart.

Music fans get ready for a red hot summer night’s entertainment as Hong Kong is hosting its very own festival, LIVE N’ LOUD, featuring a host of exciting international talents, hits the stage of AsiaWorld-Arena on the 5th of August 2008.
This inaugural LIVE N’ LOUD festival will see a strong line up of international acts from Canada, USA and the UK including Simple Plan, One Republic, Lost Prophets, New Found Glory and Jamie Scott and the Town. Each band set will run between 45 minutes and one hour. The fun starts at 7pm and is scheduled to end at midnight!
