Articles - Nightlife

hkclubbing.com and VOLAR have partnered for the very first time and are proud to present TIGA live in Hong Kong. The Montreal born DJ/Producer will be appearing exclusively at VOLAR on 23rd September 2010.

Known for throwing Canada’s first proper rave, the Montreal-based electronic producer began his spinning in cooler clubs in his home city during the early 1990s and was also involved in SONA, the renowned after-hours club. In 1994, he opened a record store, DNA Records and 4 years later in 1998, founded his own label- Turbo Recordings.

Not only does TIGA produce his own material but he’s also reputed for his remixing of various artists’ work including Felix da Housecat’s "Madame Hollywood", Scissor Sisters' "Comfortably Numb" and Tomas Andersson's "Washing Up". TIGA traffics in tunes that encourage dancing and not copping an attitude.
