Hailing all the way from Hong Kong, Clayton has come a long way since he first laid his hands on a pair of turntables almost four years ago. Originally a Trance DJ, Clayton has torn up numerous dance floors in the past with his pristine mixing, slamming track selection and vibrant charisma behind the decks. However, Clayton was eventually exposed to the breaks realm, thanks to local breakbeat heroes Dan F, Ricky Stone, and a frequent visitor to Hong Kong, Hyper, as well as some help from a friend, roommate and fellow DJ, Kron.
Currently residing in Toronto, Canada, Clayton has taken a hiatus from Trance music, and now has his sights set on the breaks scene. His sound, developed over only a short amount of time through careful record digging, is a fusion of breaks and tech funk. Previously, Clayton had played in various clubs in his home base – Hong Kong, such as The Music Room, Bling & Joint 15 alongside with the local talents. However, he was unable to spin in clubs legally due to the minimum age requirement of 19 years in Toronto, but he is now on the front line of the eastern breaks offensive, and is ready to take dance floors this side of the globe by surprise!
