From within the concrete jungle maze of central Wanchai on Hong Kong island, Heineken Thirst main event returned to ‘Asia’s World City’ after 2 years. The headliner this year was International trance star Ferry Corsten, joined by Miss Motif, Daniele Devoli & Luke Chable. An Indian restaurant by day and nightclub by night, the Viceroy was the perfect setting for the Global Heineken tour night with glass walls and a balcony overlooking the famous harbour.

Party-goers started to arrive when the first of two Found @ Thirst winners kicked off the party. Lazy Ming, who won the Hip Hop competition of F@T, laid down some fat and funky tunes before breaks DJ and also winner, DJ Pixel took over the spotlight. Clubbers continued to stream in and by the time Luke Chable followed with a progressive remix of ‘Cruel summer’ the dance floor was rockin.

At around 1.30am Daniele came on with a welcoming sign of ‘Good Evening’ and stuck to a collection of tracks that made the dance crowd go wild. During the set the beautiful Miss Motif captivated the crowd with her stunning voice on a number of occasions until Daniele held up his sign ‘Thank You’ before stepping aside for Ferry Corsten.

Clubbers went on a great journey of tunes from classics to freshly pressed tracks including his two biggest latest hits, ‘Punk’ & ‘Rock Your Body, Rock’. Bodies did rock and arms went in the air for the two hours he played. For all the fans it just seemed too short and Heineken gave Hong Kong a night of International talent as well as numerous styles of music all on one weekend.
