You recently released an electro house track on Beatport. Are you just as involved in EDM scene as you are with Bollywood music? Ive always been open to all sounds . I dont believe in genres but diversification. I dont wana buckle myself to bollywood music alone . I want people should not recognise " NYK " as only a bollywood remixer but as a producer of music liked world wide . Infact my all efforts are to put INDIA on the world EDM map , so that India should also get recognition for producing EDM . My debut EP which is out now on beatport also has 2 lounge / chilled out tracks besides the progressive electro house track " Estimulante " . The DJ Mag Top 100 votes are just around the corner - who is your pick for the No.1 spot? Above and Beyond ! What are your thoughts on the Desi scene in Hong Kong? I think the desi music scene in Hong Kong is encouraging and surprising too . The people love desi music even on a foreign land away from India. They are even aware of all the new tracks happening in the desi music scene . This shows that they follow the desi music scene very closely and thats the reason why the desi clubbers are musically educated in HK. Also HK is quite receptive to my style of remixes which is influenced from house music . This is my experience of Hong Kong .
You've been to Hong Kong a few times already. Do you have a special attachment to this city? Oh yes . The love and tremendous appreciation i get from the people of Hong Kong makes me wana come back here again and again . I love Hong Kong !
Have you got any unreleased material that you will share with your fans in Hong Kong? Yes . The whole set that i am gona drop this time in HK will be full of exclusive remixes which HK hasnt heard so far .
