 Music being his first love, Armin started DJing way back in 1996. Armin is a Mumbai based DJ and a life long upbeat music fan.
Armin is totally devoted to his music (he describes himself as a music ‘fanatic’). Commits all his time to searching and obtaining the best dance music in the world today. He breathes dance music on a 24/7 basis, promotes it through his massive social events, clubs, fashion shows etc… It's this passion and plenty of hard work that has helped Armin to get where he is today. It's no coincidence that he's been placed as the founder and opener of the ULTIMATE DJ GRIND in India. His passion to make each set the best from music in the past, present and future, makes Armin stand out. For the last 11 years DJ Armin has been a pre - eminent fixture in the Industry of Sound. One glance at a small selection of the remixed tracks that Armin plays supports to confirm the fact that DJ Armin is a man on a very serious mission. Whether it’s Bronto Beats or Bally Sagoo his ability to transcend sound puts him at the fore front with immense ability to his remixed tracks and sets. After indulging in countless parties and numerous Bollywood Mixes Armin succumbed and began concentrating more on the punchy beaty sets, mixes and programming rather than dancing. Propelled by the likes of Dj Tiesto , Paul Van Dyke, Benny Benassi, kicked his own creations of remixes into Janta and took of a title of a Remix Master. He began playing a blend of Bollywood House and Tribal Beats and diversified his repertoire to include a range of house including tribal and funky styles with electronic genres. No matter what the slot, his mixes are always dynamic, interesting, and always get the crowd' rocking. It’s this sound and ability to work a crowd that has enabled him to share the decks with the likes of dj’s from the UK too.
He has come a long way from DJing at Rock Around The Clock (Hotel Metro Plaza) Mumbai, 1996 where he got his first break. Then carried on his journey to play for various big clubs (illusions 1998, Mumbai), Sheetal Again (Hotel Royal Garden) Mumbai and various others in other cities like Pune, Bangalore etc … Did shows like Suburban Queen, Benson and Hedges Golden Zone for 9 cities in India with Djs from UK, Tele Awards 2006, and still is carrying on Strong with Bollywood Busting Nights.
In his sets he never goes for the easy option: dropping anthem after anthem. Instead he loves to tease his audience, bringing them into frenzy. As DJ Armin technical ability and flawless programming rank him among the best, his sets being renowned for their seamless integration of deep, driving baselines and swirling atmospherics, luring the crowd into a hypnotic frenzy. What gives him "the buzz" is being able to share music with others. Armin believes that DJing is first about being able to read people and then about being able to tap into that human experience & take it on a JOURNEY. He has always been very globally minded which comes across in his choice of music, which he uses to cross physical and cultural boundaries to bring people together.
