For those who know Hunterz, will only remember one song by him – ‘Rehle’, although his entire first album was a brilliant piece of work.

Phat Trax Vol1 throws in the uber-urban edge, with more MC snippets, catchy choruses and sharp beats.  With a lot of UK influence on the album, we hear a few up-tempo tracks like Aja Soniyeh.

However, as appealing as the album’s theme is, there are only 2 tracks that stand out significantly, especially for a DJ; ‘Dil Karda Eh’ and ‘Dil’.

For an album with only 8 musical tracks (there is an Intro, Interlude and Outro as well), an overall 6/10 rating would be appropriate.
