The Rogue Element, 2006 Winner of Breakthrough Producer at Breakspoll.com will be coming to Hong Kong for the first time next week. We have 3 pairs of tickets to giveaway so if you want to see the man himself and see if his DJing skills are as good as his mixing then read on to find out how to enter.

The Rogue Element is 26-year old London producer and DJ Ben Medcalf. After spending most of his life as a drummer and budding producer of breakbeat and house music, in April 2004 he signed an album deal with the reputable and eclectic Exceptional Records label. If you haven’t heard of the Rogue Element then you’ve probably been living under a rock in recent months. His first three singles on Exceptional ('My Style', 'Calm' and 'Let me Breathe') have all received widespread acclaim from the breakbeat community and also enjoyed notable support from Radio 1 and Xfm. DJ support has come from the Plump DJS, Crystal Method, Krafty Kuts, FreQ Nasty, Stanton Warriors, Rennie Pilgrem, DJ Hyper, Atomic Hooligan, Breakfastaz, Zane Lowe, Eddie Temple Morris, Annie Mac and Pete Tong to name but a few. The Rogue Element's debut album 'Rogue Rock' has recently been released and is a diverse and captivating fusion of hip hop, rock and house music in addition to breakbeat. The album's success was confirmed when Ben was voted Best Breakthrough Producer at the 2006 International Breakbeat Awards. Now about to set off on tours of the US and the Far East, the future looks bright.
‘Serious Series’ is the new party series of Sense in 2006. The aim of ‘Serious Series’ is promoting selected up and coming new star of dance music from all over the world. We are looking for new sound and uniqueness of dancefloor killer, it can be Breaks, Electro or even Hip-Hop. ‘Serious Series’ has nothing deals with ranking, just the music.
