The Hong Kong Rugby Football Union today announced the ticketing policy for the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens 2007 (30 March – 1 April 2007 at the Hong Kong Stadium). As in years past, tickets will first be assigned to all HKRFU Member Clubs to ensure all their members are given priority for tickets and to encourage the continued growth of their memberships. Following the successful public ticket sale last December at the Hong Kong Stadium, the HKRFU will once again use this method for ticket sales to Hong Kong residents. The public will have only one opportunity on December 9 2006 to buy tickets for the Sevens. Sales will be limited to 4 tickets per person. The 4 tickets can consist of a combination of Adult and Children's Tickets. Children's tickets will be limited and sold on a first come, first served basis. The HKRFU have again appointed Official Travel Agents for the event and Cathay Pacific, the official airline of the Hong Kong Sevens, will be supplied tickets for its overseas travel packages. Tickets will not be available on the internet. Mr Allan Payne, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union commented on the ticketing policy saying, “The HKRFU have determined to again use this model of ticket distribution as it has proved very successful in the past two years. The ticketing policy is designed to meet the ever increasing demand for tickets to the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens, while ensuring that members of the Hong Kong rugby community and local sevens supporters have the first priority to obtain their tickets.” Pricing Ticket prices for the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens 2007 will remain the same as in 2006 at HK$880 per adult and HK$300 per child up to the age of 12 years old.
