Australian singer/songwriter Francesca De Valence has received critical acclaim in the US for her independent debut EP From The Outside released in May 2008. In the first week of its release, Francesca was nominated for the Los Angeles Music Award, and in November 2008 was honored the LA Music Award International Songwriter of the Year 2008. In addition, she has also received other titles, including an Honourable Mention in the West Coast Songwriters International Song Contest 2008, Runner Up in the “We Are Listening” 2008 Singer/ Songwriter Awards; Best New Artist Nomination in the 2008 Independent Singer Songwriter Awards; and a track featured on the Indie-Arts Alliance 2008 Compilation CD.
