Spike Ivory is scheduled to arrive in Hong Kong this month (May) and will offer local fans a Meet & Greet session and a one off exclusive Live Performance of his radio hit tracks and some new tracks from the upcoming, Hong Kong made album.
Spike Ivory is a well known New Jersey legend and has been described as "down home American Rock with a touch of the Blues". Recently, Spike Ivory was again voted into the Top 50 CD’s of 2006 (by Kweevak.com), after taking the same honor in 2005. He also received much critical acclaim for his album "Velvet Chains". The "Velvet Chains Tour" included over 75 shows in the USA.
Spike Ivory’s new album "Burnin’ Up" is being recorded and produced in Hong Kong by Red Mountain Records. Spike Ivory will collaborate with Hong Kong based Rock Artist Sumlaam and other local artists to put an Asian touch on the album.
Red Mountain Records CEO Mr. Dan Puzny said the album will mark a new era in Hong Kong productions.
"This will be an English-language album, made with a well established foreign Artist for the International Adult Contemporary market, but it will be recorded and produced right here in Hong Kong."
"This is a big step forward for the local recording industry."
