 Multi-platinum singer-songwriter James Blunt will hit the stage at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 15 May 2008 to bring an evening of touching songs to fans in Hong Kong.
James Blunt’s 2004 debut album “Back to Bedlam” was a chart success, hitting number one in 18 countries and went on to become the second biggest-selling album of the decade with 11 million copies sold worldwide.
The album also garnered five Grammy nominations, with single “You’re Beautiful” landing the first number one single in the U.S. by a British act since Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind” in 1997. Blunt is also winner of two MTV awards and two Brit awards. Three years after such impressive accomplishments, Blunt released his much anticipated second album “All the Lost Souls” in September 2007. The new album shows tremendous growth from “Back to Bedlam” and is a reflection of Blunt’s sudden rise to global stardom. Opening single ‘1973’ is a nostalgic look back at sharing great times with friends. ‘One of the Brightest Stars’ and ‘Annie’ deal with the vagaries and distortions that fame can bring, whereas ‘Carry You Home’ and ‘I’ll Take Everything’ tackle our fragile mortality.
