Lan Kwai Fong party opens the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes One of Asia’s hottest talents, Asha Gill will join the revelers of Lan Kwai Fong this Friday night, 26 October, to celebrate the beginning of the Cathay Pacific / Standard Chartered Hong Kong Cricket Sixes. The evening before the fast and frantic cricket tournament, where Asha will be the MC, the television star will report live from Lan Kwai Fong. Chatting cricket with party goers, these interviews will be beamed back live to big screens outside Stormies, on the corner of D’Aguilar Street. Joining Asha will be UK based dance sports team, the Kukri Allstarzz, kitted out in the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes team strips. Tickets to the tournament, which will see cricket legends Shane Warne and Brian Lara play, have all sold out. However the carnival in Lan Kwai Fong will continue across the weekend with all the games being shown live at Stormies, Bulldogs Bar & Grill, C Bar, The Dublin Jack, Hong Kong Brew House, Insomnia, Pickled Pelican, Soda and The Whiskey Priest. These bars along with many others in the area will be running drinks promotions during play in celebration of the cricket.
