 LiQuid Soul, Club JJ’s international band, performs five nights a week at the Music Room, starting from 2 September 2008.
With band members hailing from the world’s most cosmopolitan cities, LiQuid Soul promises endless hours of energetic music in the evening. Frontman Jeffrey Young is classically trained veteran of jazz who has an enviable musical pedigree. Boasting of an expertise that is widely regarded in mainstream entertainment, he has had successful forays into Hip Hop and R&B, culminating in collaborations with the likes of Chaka Khan and Beyoncé Knowles.
Boyana Walsh is a vocal wonder whose talent is in-demand from Sofia to Johannesburg. Kevin Guffy, a seasoned Club JJ’s favourite, delights even the most hardened of Hong Kong’s party denizens with his improvisational riffs. They are joined by bass guitarist LeiLei, a prodigy who started playing music at age eight; and by an ever-energetic Lloyd Yamin on drums.
