Live Jazz at Philia featuring Eugene Pao on August 15

World famous jazz guitarist Eugene Pao will be performing at Philia this coming Wednesday (August 15). This time Pao teams up with Sylvain Gagnon on bass and Charles Huntley on saxophone.
This is the best of jazz in Hong Kong, an event not to be missed.
Pao was recognized by international leading jazz musicians at an early age He has a long history of playing with international superstars. One of his earliest recordings was made in the company of legendary bassist Eddie Gomez, he was also declared by the great bluesman, Jimmy Witherspoon, “the most exciting guitarist after Robben Ford”. In 1996, Pao released his solo debut album, “By The Company You Keep”; he is the first Hong Kong jazz artist to sign with an international label.
