MUSE will be performing Live in Hong Kong this March on the 3rd. This will be the first time these guys will be in Hong Kong for a live show.
Should be great to see these types of bands in Hong Kong, hopefully the start of many.
British rock sensation Muse will bring their energetic live gig to Hong Kong for the first time on 3 March, 2007 at the AsiaWorld-Expo. Led by Matthew Bellamy on vocals, guitar and keyboards, with Dominic Howard on drums and Chris Wolstenholme on bass and backing vocals, Muse is famed for their eclectic style fusing progressive rock, electronica, indie rock and a bit of heavy metal. Following 2003’s chart-topping masterpiece “Absolution”, the trio released their fifth and yet another UK number one album “Black Holes and Revelations” in July 2006. Hit singles include “Supermassive Black Hole” and “Starlight”: the former is a dance tune with a twist that sounds like a cross between Beck and Marilyn Manson with a dose of Studio 54 glamour while the latter is an Abba gig on the moon. “Knights of Cydonia”, a surf-prog number, is another favourite single taken from the album. Don’t miss the chance to be part of Muse’s first-ever live performance in Hong Kong. Muse Live in Hong Kong 2007 is brought to you by Live Nation and Midas Promotions. Tickets for this one-night only gig will be on sale through HK Ticketing (www.hkticketing.com; tel: 31 288 288) from 19 January, 2007.
