Les Soeurs Cruelles presents Bonsoir Raymond is a musical comedy about two sisters who are brought together when a renowned director invites them to be part of a play that is not their cup of tea. In order to assuage the director, the duo decides to create a show themselves, which neither they nor the director will be able to refuse. With little time, the sisters must let their imaginations run wild; what ensues is comedy, music and song that eventually leads to the creation of a masterpiece.
Isabelle Tanakil is a longtime actress, with experience on stage, film and television. She performed in Frou frou les bains, a musical written by Patrick Haudecoeur, which won the Moliere for Best Musical 2002 award.
Tanakil’s sister, Marie Lenoir, studied at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art of Paris. She has performed widely on stage, and in film and television. She’s recently been on tour performing a musical comedy Le Roi Soleil.
The event is being presented in association with Alliance Francaise and Fine Vintage (Far East) Ltd.
