Rain set to perform two shows at the AsiaWorld Expo Arena, making Hong Kong the first stop in Asia for RAIN'S COMING – 06/07 RAIN WORLD TOUR

On 12th and 13th January, 2007, Korean superstar Rain (née JUNG Ji-Hoon) will perform in Hong Kong at the AsiaWorld Expo Arena as part of his second World Tour in three years, titled Rain’s Coming.

The RAIN'S COMING – 06/07 RAIN WORLD TOUR is in celebration of the release of his fourth and latest album, Rain’s World (2006).  The tour will debut in Seoul, Korea on 15th and 16th December, 2006 at the Olympic Park Gymnasium.  The exclusive 12th and 13th January, 2007 performances in Hong Kong will be the first stop in Asia outside of his hometown.

“Hong Kong is one of Rain’s favorite places in the world and we could not be happier to bring the RAIN'S COMING – 06/07 RAIN WORLD TOUR to all his wonderful fans in Hong Kong.  We look forward to showcasing Rain’s evolution into a global Asian superstar in this world-class concert production,” says Mr. Beom-Chang KANG, Director of StarM, global organizer of the Rain’s Coming World Tour.

Having sold out over 157,000 seats in his previous Rainy Day 2005 Tour, 2006-07 is set to be an even more outstanding year, with the RAIN'S COMING – 06/07 RAIN WORLD TOUR landing in 12 countries worldwide.

Dubbed “The Magic Feet from Korea” by Time Magazine in their 100 Most Influential People of 2006 issue (May, 2006), Rain has truly evolved into an International Asian superstar.  Therefore, the production of his World Tour would not be anything shy of world class.

In addition to a spectacular stage and set design never before seen in Hong Kong, RAIN'S COMING – 06/07 RAIN WORLD TOUR will see the talents of internationally acclaimed choreographer Mr. Jamie King – Creative/Tour Director.
Jamie King directs and choreographs the Rain World Tour.  He has directed the shows of world famous artists such as:
 - Ricky Martin Livin’ La Vida Loca World Tour (1999)
 - Britney Spears Oops, I Did It Again World Tour (2000)
 - Madonna Drowned World Tour (2001)
 - Christina Aguilera Stripped World Tour (2003)
 - Madonna Re-Invention World Tour (2003)
 - Pink Try This Tour (2004)
 - Madonna Confessions World Tour (2006)

As unimaginable as it may seem, Rain’s dance choreography in the RAIN'S COMING – 06/07 RAIN WORLD TOUR will be taken to the next level in this collaboration with Jamie King.

In addition to Jamie King, a team of veteran production team including Visual Director Mr. Dago Gonzalez and Lighting Director Mr. Roy Bennett, add their expertise to the RAIN'S COMING – 06/07 RAIN WORLD TOUR, both of which have worked with Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Usher and Guns ‘N’ Roses.

Tickets for the RAIN'S COMING – 06/07 RAIN WORLD TOUR will be on sale 13th December, 2006 through online at HK Ticketing, as well as at all participating Tom Lee Music ticket outlets.  Ticket prices will be HK$380, HK$580, HK$780, HK$980 and HK$1280 (VIP Standing Area).
