Music fans get ready for a red hot summer night’s entertainment as Hong Kong is hosting its very own festival, LIVE N’ LOUD, featuring a host of exciting international talents, hits the stage of AsiaWorld-Arena on the 5th of August 2008.
This inaugural LIVE N’ LOUD festival will see a strong line up of international acts from Canada, USA and the UK including Simple Plan, One Republic, Lost Prophets, New Found Glory and Jamie Scott and the Town. Each band set will run between 45 minutes and one hour. The fun starts at 7pm and is scheduled to end at midnight!
In addition to the exciting gigs on the main stage, the audience will also be treated to a range of hot happenings at the venue. From counters selling the band’s official merchandise, and special booths set up by Channel [V] and HMV, to various cultural activities that will add a different vibe to the night and bring a touch of the real ‘festival experience’ to the fans in Hong Kong. "We are looking forward to a really successful first year for LIVE N’ LOUD," says Nigel Peters of Midas Promotions. "It is our plan to build this into an annual Hong Kong event that will bring us a variety of great local and International acts. Now is a good time to start such an event too, as the music scene is now as strong as ever in Hong Kong and a ‘concert culture’ is really starting to develop. People often complain there are not enough shows in Hong Kong, well, here we’re bringing you five great bands, all on one night!" Don’t miss the chance to be part of this exciting music event.
