December 7th, 2006. Six Keyz is proud to bring to you "BURN", a graffiti art exhibition in Hong Kong. New York City graffiti artists Pen1 and Drift are teaming up in Hong Kong to produce a graffiti art exhibition at the Six Keyz Art Gallery. When asked about the concept and title of their show the artists agreed, "It's about burning. If you're not sure what that means in terms of graffiti lingo, we think you'll get it when you check out the exhibition." Pen1 and Drift are long time partners in crime and made their mark in the New York City graff scene by combining raw NYC graffiti styles with conceptual design twists. The result is an art form that reaches out to the masses as much as it does to graffiti's sub-culture of vandal/artists. Event: BURN

About the Six Keyz Collective and the Six Keyz Skateable Art Gallery:
The Six Keyz collective recently built a skateable art gallery with an indoor mini-ramp art installation that is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. “Realizing that skater’s interests, inside and outside skateboarding, intertwine with artists and designers; we decided that we wanted to create an environment that fosters creativity 24-7 and a place where skaters and artists can get together” said Andy Lee, a Six Keyz founder and long time skateboarder. The Six Keyz gallery is located in an industrial warehouse in Chai Wan, a growing community of underground artists and their studios. Six Keyz will frequently host traveling skaters and artists for demos and exhibitions.
