In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), starting from tomorrow June 1, 2007, Ngong Ping 360 will welcome children who were born in Hong Kong during the month of July 1997, to enjoy a free Monkey’s Tale Theatre Package experience.  In addition, Ngong Ping 360 will also offer free rides to 100 couples from China who will celebrate their 10th anniversary of marriage in Hong Kong end of June. 

10-year-old Hong Kong Children to Experience Monkey’s Tale Theatre Package
Children who were born in Hong Kong during the month of July 1997 are eligible for a free ride on Ngong Ping Skyrail with admission to “Monkey’s Tale Theatre”, one of the three attractions at Ngong Ping Village, on any one day in June, their birthday in July or any one day in September 2007 (except Special Days*). 

Eligible children can simply present their identity documents at Ngong Ping 360’s Ticketing Office to receive a complimentary ticket for the Monkey’s Tale Theatre Package.  Children will be excited to experience the spectacular view on board Ngong Ping Skyrail, at the same time they can also enjoy a humorous and heart-warming edutainment about sharing and kindness at Monkey’s Tale Theatre, which was inspired by Buddhist Jataka stories

10th Wedding Anniversary Celebration with 100 Couples from China

Ngong Ping 360 is honoured to share another remarkable moment with 100 couples from China who will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in Hong Kong from June 30 to July 2, 2007, by offering spectacular Ngong Ping Skryail experience for them, their long lasting wedding memories will surely be further enhanced.

Jointly organized by the three travel industry Associations including Hong Kong Association of Travel Agents, Hong Kong Inbound Travel Association Limited and Hong Kong Association of China Travel Organizers Limited, 10 couples who got married in July 1997 will be specially selected from ten cities in China, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Macau, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Nanhai and Shunde, for an exclusive 3-day trip to Hong Kong, to experience the enjoyment of HKSAR 10th anniversary celebrations.  Ngong Ping 360 is one of the ten highlighted Hong Kong landmarks to be included in this special itinerary alongside with such as the Big Buddha, the Tsing Ma Bridge and a commemorative firework display. 

Another celebration highlight that Ngong Ping 360 is proud to support is “The Dazzle of Buddha: Islands District in Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR”, an exclusive event to be held at the Po Lin Monastery and The Big Buddha on June 23, 2007.  Special arrangements will be made for 1,500 invited guests to enjoy the Ngong Ping Skyrail experience. The event will be comprised of entertainments at Ngong Ping Village in the afternoon, a variety of themed entertainment at the Po Lin Monastery and a stunning firework display at the Big Buddha.
