The 2006 World Battle of the Bands has found all of its world finalists. Hundreds of bands at hundreds of live events from June – November have been battling it out to represent their nation on the world stage. The winners from all 8 participating countries will be flown to Hong Kong for the World Final event on the 24th of November.
WORLD FINAL What is promising to be a truly legendary and special night, the conclusion show from months of events over 8 countries in over 30 cities, the World Final will be a show not to be missed. Featuring only National champions from all 8 countries, the standard of bands will be superb. Channel V will be the official TV Channel for the World Final with promotion and coverage across their entire Asian network. An international panel of judges will pick the World Winner who will be winning recording and release possibilities, major publicity, music gear vouchers and much more. PHILIPPINES --- Queso The public text voted or voted on-line for their favorite band as well as a live competition. Queso already have gained a large following. Their overall performance is very professional and they cast some sort of magic spell to charm audiences as they stand out above the rest. They fuse pop rock with great melody lines and hooks.
