Having launched the most talked about restaurant and bar in town, Bonnie Gokson has now worked her magic on one of Hong Kong’s oldest traditions, re-inventing Afternoon Tea in a stylish and intimate setting.

Gokson has created the perfect contemporary space for the ‘see and be seen’ crowd, encouraging guests to relax on the sumptuous colourful sofas by the ‘green wall’ or lounge outside in the sunshine on the stunning 360 degree terrace with amazing views of Hong Kong harbour.

Gokson’s favourites make up the six savoury dishes; chicken roll sandwich, crumpet with cream cheese and smoked salmon, green asparagus roll sandwich, Indian-style nachos, SEVVA poori, vegetable spring roll and ‘Ms B’s Favourite’.

Sweeter treats from the enticing Cake Corner include ginger cheese cake, lemon cookies, ‘turtle’ pie and ‘original crunch cake’.

The sophisticated three-tiered platter of ten savoury and sweet treats with coffee or tea is served Monday through to Saturday from 3-6pm, priced at HK$360 for two, plus service charge.

Pronounced ‘Savour’, meaning to experience a taste, SEVVA has been designed to be a home from home.  It delivers a quintessentially Hong Kong dining experience inspired by what Gokson describes as ‘the DNA’ of Hong Kong– traditional regional Asian cuisines intermixed with Western fine dining, coupled with her own travels and experiences.

Its penthouse with a wrap-around terrace at the top of Central’s designer shopping mall, Prince’s Building, has become the place to go to in town whether for lunch, dinner, evening cocktails under the stars….or now, afternoon tea.

SEVVA Hong Kong, 25/F Princes Building, Central Hong Kong.
