DiVino will showcase a spectacular Tuscan treat throughout April and May, featuring the simple, but flavourful dishes from one of Italy’s most beautiful regions. For many generations, farmers and peasants in Tuscany have worked the land, growing their own vegetables and rearing their own animals. Much of the “cucina Toscana” is centered around age-old peasant recipes that call for simple ingredients, like beans (fagioli), bread, seasonal vegetables, and locally available meats, like wild boar (cinghiale), duck (anatra), and rabbit (lepre). The talented chefs at DiVino are now pleased to bring a selection of these dishes to lovers of Italian food. The menu begins with Traditional Cold Cuts from “Cinta Senese” and Tomato Crostini, followed by Check Pea and Sausage Soup flavored with Tuscan Herbs. Pasta lovers will delight in the Ravioli filled with Free Range Pheasant and Pecorino Scales, or Fresh Chestnut Egg Noodles (taglietelle) with Hare Sauce.
For main course, Chef Michele Senigaglia recommends the very traditional Senese Wild Boar Rack simply grilled, served with Rocket Salad, Zolfino White Beans and Potato Chips, or the Tuscany T-bone “Fiorentina” served with grilled Vegetables and roasted Potatoes (ideally best shared between 2 or 3 people).

It is open for lunch from noon to 3pm on Monday to Friday and from 11:30am – 14.30pm on Saturday, while dinner is served from 6pm till late on Monday and Tuesday, to 1am on Wednesday and Thursday, and until 2am at the weekend.
