It feels like just yesterday that Frites first opened its doors to the Hong Kong public, but it has been almost a year now and Frites has firmly established itself as one of the restaurants of choice with local diners.
To celebrate this momentous occasion Frites will be hosting a beer competition for the month of October, in conjunction with Oktoberfest. Teams of 4 or more will compete to finish the frites beer passport in the quickest time possible, the team that completes the passport in the fastest time will win a trip for 4 to Macau with travel and accommodation included, sponsored by San Miguel. Frites boasts a wide selection of Belgium beers, many of which are only available at our restaurant. The Frites beer passport consists of 35 Belgium beers in total many ranging in strength, something many people have underestimated in trying to complete the beer passport, it is not for the faint hearted. So get your buddies together and come in and try your luck, you will notice that our faithful dog carries a plaque with the last person to finish the passport in the fastest time, yes that is correct it was one young man on his own.
