Coyote Bar & Grill & Caramba Mexican Cantina is gearing for its annual fiesta to celebrate Mexican National Day in Mexican September.  Mexican National Day is a celebration of the day in 1810 when Father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla made the momentous decision to call the native Indians to rebel against the hated Spaniards, who had oppressed Mexicans for generations. His cry, "Mexicanos, Viva Mexico!" (el grito de Dolores), marked the beginning of years of bloody war, but every year at midnight on September 16th, Mexicans shout the 'grito de Dolores' honoring the impulsive action that was the catalyst for the country's struggle for independence from Spain.
