Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers proudly presents “Yunnan Mushroom Fiesta” at Celestial Court starting from July 12 to August 27 of this year. Continuing our success from previous years, Celestial Court features a wide variety of natural, pure, and rare wild mushrooms; such as Matsutake, Morels Mushrooms, Ganbajun, Golden Tremella, and Safron Bolete etc. from Yunnan - one of the most unpolluted areas in world.

Unlike last year, Chef Chan Siu-kei, the Head Chef of Celestial Court, took a hike up in the mountain at more than 2000m above sea level; physically digging up wild mushrooms piece-by-piece on the mountain. Due to the ever-changing weather, no one knows what sorts of mushrooms are available on the mountain. In addition to that, mushrooms do not grow in one specific area. They can be anywhere and everywhere. They are grown sparsely and randomly. This makes this ‘mission’ a tough one as Chef Chan had to dig every inch of land in order to find ‘treasures’. It can be very exciting when you find rare and valuable mushrooms.
