Classified Mozzarella Bar announces its opening on 10th September 2008. This Classified is designed for mozzarella lovers and alike. We are pleased to announce the opening of Classified Mozzarella Bar located at 31 Wing Fung Street, Wanchai (adjacent to Pacific Place 3). This outlet’s main focus is artisan mozzarella and has a dine-in capacity of approx. 20. In addition, Classified Mozzarella Bar offers a specially curated all-day menu (available for both dine-in and take away) complemented by a selection of over 150 wines from around the world. Private dining is also available upon advance reservation featuring a pre-fixed menu customized by our executive chef. Continuing with enthusiasm for wine and cheese, Classified Mozzarella Bar is likewise dedicated to those who love food. Opening hours are 11am – 12am daily. The menu offers simple dishes such as bacon wrapped deep fried mozzarella, fresh daily selection of pastas, soups and sandwiches to something more extravagant like Oscietra caviar. An extensive selection of wine by the glass is also available to provide the perfect pairing for a complete gourmet experience. Additionally, both Classified The Cheese Room and Mozzarella Bar serves unique dishes exclusively available at its own branch only. About Classified Classified is a neighborhood food shop concept specializing in wine and cheese. The owners always had a passion for food and noticed that many stores in the local scene didn’t carry some of the offerings and products they were looking for. Now Classified provides that to the Wanchai and Sheung Wan neighborhood and visitors alike. Classified’s namesake is inspired by Overseas Chinese Daily News (华侨日报) whose headquarter was located at the same location as The Cheese Room for over half a century. Hence, the name “Classified” fittingly captures the concept of a neighborhood food shop and pays homage to its former tenants. Classified The Cheese Room houses Asia’s first walk-in temperature and humidity controlled cheese room. Distinctively different from regular supermarkets in Hong Kong, The Cheese Room steered clear of the conventional experience where cheese is sold and bought from over the counter, this shop allows cheese lovers to personally taste and select from inside the cheese room. It features a selection of over 40 artisan cheeses from the UK, Ireland, France, Italy and Switzerland. Complementing the cheeses are a selection of exclusive gourmet products, best ham from top producer, Joselito and wines directly imported from vineyards all over the world. The wine room at The Cheese Room is open for party booking; guests can dine in a unique haven surrounded by over 20 labels of wines from around the world. Available seven days a week, the room can accommodate up to 20 diners for seated luncheons and dinners, and even more for a soiree of cocktails and canapés. A specially designed menu is offered to complete the occasion. There is also a dine-in section to wash down some cheese and charcuterie platters with glasses of wine from its extensive wine list.
