COYOTE bar & grill ® in Wanchai today announced the launch of the new Left Handed SIGNATURE MARGARITA®, which will become available on 1st of April. Hong Kong's most preferred premium margarita will feature the trademark squeeze of fresh lime and lemon, big shot of Jose Cuervo Tequila and a dose of triple sec liquor, but the newly designed cocktail has been re-engineered to fit more comfortably in the left hand, thereby reducing "spills" for left-handed margarita lovers. It is estimated that more than 875 left-handed customers visit COYOTE bar & grill ® each day. The new left-handed SIGNATURE MARGARITA® will have the salt rotated 180 degrees, thereby redistributing the weight of the cocktail so that the bulk of the ingredients will skew to the left, thereby reducing the amount of ice and other ingredients from spilling out the right side of the drink. "We have always been proud of the fact that we offered 75 different variations of our SIGNATURE MARGARITA®. Now it’s 76 ways. It's the ultimate Mexican indulgence for our left-handed customers," said Gareth Moore, General Manager for COYOTE bar & grill ® It is estimated that approximately 13 percent of the Hong Kong population (or 845 thousand people) is left-handed, making this consumer group one of the largest--and one of the most over-looked--minority segments in the city. The new left handed SIGNATURE MARGARITA® will be launched in a half-page ad in HK Magazine, March 31 edition. Initially, the Left-Handed SIGNATURE MARGARITA® will only be available in COYOTE bar & grill ®, however, the company is considering plans to roll it out in it’s sister Mexican restaurant in SoHo, Caramba, located on Elgin Street. COYOTE bar & grill ® is Hong Kong’s premier Mexican restaurant and first true Margarita bar and is a well known party destination. Classic Mexican dishes alongside the more adventurous and ultra-hip Southwest US Cuisine has established Coyote as a true destination restaurant. (information provided by the venue)
