Following the Budget Speech presented by the Financial Secretary Mr Henry Tang this morning at 11am, in which he reduced the tax on beer and liquor (under 30% alcohol content) from 40% to 20% and on wines from 80% to 40%, the Lan Kwai Fong Entertainments group will take the following action in the interest of our customers: • The menu price of beer affected by this tax cut will be reduced by 6-7% in our establishments starting Saturday March 3rd, 2007. • The menu price of wines affected by this tax cut will be reduced by 10-15% in our establishments starting Saturday March 3rd, 2007.
