Decadent indulgences await exploration, immersion, savouring, lingering, mingling, socialising, and celebrating at the two signature restaurants FIRE and KITCHEN at W Hong Kong, set to ignite the senses of diners in one of the world’s greatest culinary cities.

FIRE’s chic and intimate atmosphere and focus on comfort cuisine from the grill and wood stove oven will provide a sizzling dining and drinking experience. Renowned Culinary Director Michael Poutawa’s daring menu features dishes such as new Zealand Napier Valley Olive Oil Poached Baby Lamb, Two Hour Butter Poached Kobe Rib Eye, and Iberian Pancetta Wrapped Organic Chicken – and plenty of exciting tastes that are grilled to thrill with diverse, multicultural compositions taking diners on a gastronomic exploration.

From traditional European fare and local seafood specialties to a stunning burst of artesian inspiration in exotic flavours, the feast doesn’t end there as FIRE presents a dessert selection that defines futility in resistance – try the Grilled Mini Pineapples, Saffron-White Chocolate Semifreddo and Brulee Trio. To complete the experience, W Hong Kong’s stylish LIQUID FIRE bar tends to all requirements for the evening, from pre-dinner martinis and pairings for every course to digestifs for late-night lounging.

This decadent indulgence takes place in a Glamorous-designed contemporary, cutting-edge aesthetic combining innovative décor and lighting, in a warm setting that’s inviting during the day and cosy and seductive at night. The visual spectacles of FIRE’s wood-fired oven complemented by elegant banquettes, semi-private booths and an entourage-ready private room serves up a sophisticated ambience for any occasion.

Says Poutawa, who hails from New Zealand, “Expect introductions to very new, very daring and fun combinations of flavours at FIRE. Our menu defies convention and, like the W brand, our objective is to create an exploration for the senses. The word ‘Fire’ is often associated with grilling, but here it simply suggests the warmth found in the decor, the passion put into the creation of the most unique dishes, and the friendliness of the service delivery.”

If FIRE epitomises heat, then KITCHEN, W Hong Kong’s next signature offering personifies the brand’s ‘warmth of cool’ as a modern bistro dishing international and authentic pan-Asian delights with views of live dazzling food preparation in one area and the Hong Kong harbour panorama in another.

The restaurant lives and breathes an overall ambience that enfolds the guest in its reassuring warmth – in essence the sum of a successful dinner. The cooking is first and foremost completely upfront and uncomplicated – food from the heart.

W Hong Kong welcomes diners to fresh bespoke breakfasts served not from vast buffet tables but from the hands of KITCHEN’s chefs and servers. Whether for early or late lunches, romantic dinners or late suppers, KITCHEN’s modern interpretation of timeless classics and equally innovative original masterpieces fill a menu that's designed to tantalise and satisfy even the most discerning gourmands. From Crispy Lobster Tacos and Spicy Chicken Cakes in the section named “Keeping it Small” to the soon-to-be-legendary Spa Burger and Miso Chicken Sandwich under the “Between the Sheets” category, expect the masterful pairing of organic herbs with ingredients imported from afar to surprise and please the palate at this signature dining destination.

While the majority of power-lunch seating enjoys the scenery of the magnificent Western harbour via expansive bay windows, KITCHEN’s lively food preparation area features a large, communal table for single dining – a first in Hong Kong. In KITCHEN’s world of gastronomic pleasure, you’ll nosh on enticing creations often crafted from organic ingredients in a warm, trendy setting – a contemporary interpretation of comfort food redefined in an urban context by W Hong Kong.

After all of the enticing gastronomic delights have been sampled, it’s time to woo, wink and wow your way across LIVING ROOM, the hippest new addition to Hong Kong’s thriving nightlife scene. With DJs, delectable libations created by W Mixologists, delightful snacks, groovy beats and a cutting edge Wine Safe so your best vintages have a place to call home, the space is sexy and chic for those who want to see and be seen. LIVING ROOM offers an extraordinary selection of the best champagnes under soaring nine metre ceilings, while a surprising and colourful mural on the upper reaches of the space and plush seating with a stylish private room offer equal doses of art and comfort.

FIRE will be open 7 days a week for lunch from 12pm to 4pm, dinner from 6pm to 11pm and cocktails from 6pm to 1am. KITCHEN will be open from 6:30am to 11pm daily. LIVING ROOM sleeps for no one.
