Providing a perfect location for relaxing post work drinks, LIAN, meaning Lotus in Mandarin, is a fashionable venue styled by renowned Hong Kong designer Steve Leung and resembles a “lair” divided by rattan carvings. The centerpiece is a large rectangular dining table with a pool of lotus leaves and lily pads in the centre. LIAN’s Wine Gala’ offers unlimited glasses for two hours between either 6-8pm or 8-10pm and the menu changes regularly, focusing on different grape types and wine regions. The ‘Wine Gala’ promotion at the restaurant on ifc’s Podium Level 2 currently features a dozen wines from Argentina, Australia, California, Chile, China, Italy, and New Zealand. On the current menu are Italian vintages from Bolla and Bottega; Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc and Rose from Malborough in New Zealand; Trivento Viognier and Pinor Noir from Mendoza, Argentina; Santa Carolina Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon named after the founder’s wife and now one of the most prestigious and best know wineries in Chile; wines from the award winning Grant Burge label from Barosa, Australia; and Grace Vineyard Premium Chardonnay and Premium Cabernet Merlot from Shanxi, China.
