Popular wine bar and restaurant to become Italian foodies’ heaven with indulgent additions and midnight feasts Talented chef, Michele Senigaglia of DiVino has added a “luxury” section to complement the menu at the ever-popular Italian bar and restaurant at the top of Wyndham Street, using only the finest imported ingredients from Italy. Chef Senigaglia scoured the very best food exporters to create dazzling dishes that offer true foodies the chance to indulge in stylish extravagance. These include Kobe Beef Rib-Eye Steak A-5 grade (10oz) cooked to perfection and sprinkled with Sea Salt (HK$ 780); Tuscany T-bone “Fiorentina” served with Grilled Vegetables and Roast Potatoes (best shared between 2 or 3 diners), priced at $45 per oz; Dover Sole “as you like it” - grilled or Meuniere, served with Garden Vegetables and Boiled Potatoes (HK$350); or the utterly irresistible Imperial Mediterranean Langoustines simply grilled and topped with an Olives and Basil Salsa (HK$390). All prices are subject to 10% service charge. The kitchen has also extended its opening hours to cater for the growing number of revellers in and around Wyndham Street. Night owls can now swap pit stops at Hong Kong’s ubiquitous burger joints for a healthier and more civilised dining experience at DiVino, which will offer delicious Italian suppers until 1am on Wednesday and Thursday, and until 2am at the weekend. Friends can relax with a glass of vino from the extensive wine list and share some rustici. Those with a bigger appetite can choose from a mouth-watering selection of classic pastas, including Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Peperoncino or Bottarga, and Penne Arrabbiata and Bolognese. Or, for something a little richer, DiVino’s signature Penne Gorgonzola and Truffle Sauce is sure to tantalise the tastebuds. A nightcap with one of DiVino’s delectable desserts will leave diners with a sweet taste in their mouth, finishing the evening – or morning, rather - off to perfection.
