Le Beaujolais Nouveau in Lan Kwai Fong Every year on the third Thursday of November, the Beaujolais Nouveau is uncorked simultaneously around the world. In Hong Kong the festivities will take place in Lan Kwai Fong on November 15th in association with Café des Artistes restaurant, and wine suppliers Vins de France, Maxford Wines, Viola Claro, Concord Wines and Mochetto Foods & Wine. There will be a tasting stand on the street outside California Tower from 7pm with live music and experts on hand to explain the intricacies and history of this French tradition. Up in Café des Artistes there will be a set menu for $350 from Chef Didier Rochat specifically paired with the complimentary glass of Beaujolais wine, while live jazz will serenade the diners on this night of global celebration.
