‘En Mai fais ce qu'il te plait!’ is a very common phrase in France, especially in May. In English it means ‘Do whatever you like in May!’. In May, France just step out of cold stone winter, walking into the warm lovely spring, where flowers blossoms and everything becomes vivid.
To celebrate this joyful season, Philia presents to you, Le French May Dinner.
Using only the finest ingredients from France, Chief Chef of Philia, Dan Pang, insist to bring all ingredients straight from France, flying to Hong Kong every week, echoing with the perfect dining atmosphere in Philia. Le French May Dining in Philia is a six courses dinner, starting with Salmon and Pigeon Rillettes, then follow by the most famous dish in French dining, Pan Fried Foie Gras Bed on Wild Mushroom Pie with Garden Leaves. After that Oyster Veloute with Artichoke Crisp Soup will be served, and just before the main course, a Lime Sorbet is served to clear the taste in your mouth. Main course would be a choice of Pan Fried Citrus & Saffron infused Sea Bass with Fennel served with Apple Salad with Balsamic Redaction, or Roasted Suckling Pig with Candied Yams and French Bean and Raisins Gravy.
