The colourful spread, which changes weekly and costs just $120 per head, features modern Asian cuisine created from the best quality ingredients. The recipes, created by LOTUS chef Will Meyrick, are inspired by South East Asia’s famed street food and includes authentic Thai pastes and condiments. Some highlights include Freshly Shucked Tasmanian Oysters with Nahm Jim; Chilled Vietnamese Sweet Prawns with Dipping Sauce; Spicy Green Papaya Salad with Tomato & Green Bean; Glass Noodle Salad with Poached Shredded Chicken; Green Vegetable Curry; Crispy Fish with Three-Flavor Sauce, Wild Ginger & Holy Basil; Pad Thai with Peanuts, Pickled Radish & Tofu; and Stir Fried Asian Vegetables with Thai Basil & Tofu. Tempting traditional desserts include Thai Sticky Rice; Taro Cake, and Refreshing Fruit Platter. Lotus has won many accolades since opening its doors in 2006, the highlight of which was being the ONLY restaurant in Hong Kong to be listed in Conde Nast Traveler’s prestigious “Hot List Tables 2007”.
