MEGU celebrates Grand Opening in Style MEGU, the Japanese Fine Dining restaurant from New York, celebrated its grand opening in the stylish Elements development in Hong Kong last night with a celebrity packed party and guests flying in from around the world. International DJ Yacine entertained over 350 guests including local celebrities Poman Lo Po Man, Kennis Tai Hoi Yan, Cecil Chao Sze Tsang, Isabella Kau Hung Ping, Pauline Yam Po Lam, Catleigh Hung Chi Ching, Charlotte Chen Chi Wan, Edwin Ing Si Wing, Nelson Cheung Hok Yun, Cheng Ming Ming, Mr. & Mrs. Chau Kai Bong, Albert Wong Ka Yan, Kam Kwok Leung, Maria Cordero and Karen Suen Ming Chui who partied till late into the night. Showcasing the signature style of modern Japanese cuisine available at MEGU, guests were treated to an array of bespoke canapés including Crab Meat with Uni in Kanisu Gelee, Grilled Eel & Avocado with Mentaiko Mayonnaise and Silver Cod Gindara Saikyou Miso. Celebratory cocktails and champagne flowed throughout the evening with guests enjoying MEGU’s signature “Blessing” cocktail. The Grand Opening Ceremony was the highlight of the evening’s procedures with guests treated to a display of skill and tradition from the master chefs at MEGU.
