New Presentation of Popular Aperitif Moment at Divino

DiVino Wine Bar & Grill has re-vamped its successful “Aperitif Moment”, an enduringly popular concept that offers customers, free of charge, a selection of small savoury treats (similar to tapas) that perfectly complement social or after-work drinks.

The newly designed Aperitif Moment, which takes place daily 6pm and 7:30pm, sees a total change of items. These include mini Parmesan tarts; mozzarella in carrozza; traditional Italian chicken "polpette"; mini vol au vent with porcini and mascarpone ; tomato wedges with tuna and caper; "arancini" deep fried rice ball;  and roulades of bell pepper and anchovies.

According to Chef Michele Senigaglia, who has designed the new items: “Our Aperitif Moment has been hugely popular ever since we opened back in March 2003. We get many regulars coming back time and again to try it and also the regular daily pizza squares that are served at 7:15pm.”

To further enhance the tempting after work offer, Senigaglia also serves up the Chef’s Call at 7:30pm - a portion of piping hot, fresh pasta which is shared out amongst whoever is present. 

This tradition has proved so popular in Italy that customers often start appearing up to an hour beforehand to make sure they get a plate of something truly fresh, hot and totally tasty!

DiVino is open daily for lunch and dinner Monday – Friday. Open on Saturday evening. Closed on Sundays.  All major credit cards accepted.
