Hollywood star Juliette Lewis set to introduce some of the UK’s hottest bands at the Vodafone Live Music Awards 2008. Carling Academy Brixton prepares awards ceremony of the year Premiering on 4Music Friday 19th September, then on C4 Sat 20th September Juliette Lewis, Hollywood actress and rock and roll star, will be joined by T4 main man Steve Jones in hosting this year’s Vodafone Live Music Awards in association with Sony Ericsson. The Vodafone Live Music Awards is a celebration of the year in live music, and will feature explosive performances on the night from the finest live artists on the circuit. One of the best breakthrough acts of the year, The Ting Tings will take to the Brixton stage, as well as international superstar Estelle. More bands will be confirmed in due course. The spectacular ceremony will take place at the legendary Carling Academy Brixton on Thursday September 18th, and transmit on 4Music the following evening and C4 on Saturday night.
