Publicists for Pacha New York told Skrufff this week that the new Manhattan superclub will definitely be opening next month, with December 7 the most likely date for launch.
The West Side venue (between 45th and 46th Street by the Hudson River) will cater for up to 2,655 revellers across the 4 floors, while 400 celebs will be able to party at Pachita, a ‘club within a club’ situated on the top floor of the venue.
The ‘’intimate’ space has apparently been designed to resemble ‘the eclectic attic of an eccentric personality,’ Pacha reveal, complete with ‘Louis XVII details blending with Victorian elements and Moroccan style vaulted ceilings and plush seating’, presumably to the delight of fame fanatic Erick Morillo, who’s Pacha’s frontman at their massive new club.
“I’m still DJing but I’m excited,” said a very, very, very exuberant sounding Erick describing his new job in his latest Mixmag column, “We’re deep in construction and putting together the final touches including a VVVIP room, which will be for anything goes, all-night parties,” he panted.
