Justo in a nutshell

By education and by vocation, Justo has acquired a diversity of professional and artistic assets.
A joint graduate in Fine Arts and Engineering, Justo has established himself personally and professionally both in Barcelona, Spain and Marrakech, Morocco. In both cities he has set up Multi-Media Studios.
While widening professional horizons, Justo has exerted efforts in meticulous explorations around Africa and the world over, searching exotic places for unique moments and distinct patterns.
Thru those stimulating personal searches, Justo has indeed revealed unique and striking exposures of people in a variety of living conditions.
Justo has documented his explorations and findings in series of inspiring photos, paintings, sculptures and books.
In any individual situation or social condition, Justo has been able to capture unique poses and genuine values.

One picture equals one thousand words

Although expositions are usually introduced with words, this exhibition allows images to speak up on their own and enrich us with deeper sensations.
On the gallery's threshold, the visitor crosses an imaginary buffer - from outside surrealist words to inside photography images of penetrating realism. Therefore, photos are telling their authentic stories.
With camera at hand as an extension of an eye, Justo has exceeded ordinary and banal dimensions of reality, and penetrated inner truths.
Justo could draw our attention to novel and exciting points of view. With similar skill and intensity, he could lead our hands and seduce us to touch reality.
There is no need to seek explanations in dictionaries, because Justo offers us a novel vocabulary of facts, beauty and elegance, happiness and sadness, concern and safety, loneliness and togetherness, childhood and manhood, womanhood and motherhood.
In an original perceptive language, Justo inspires us by comparative suggestion of universal terms:
Elegance is elegance whether it is a canoe in the Niger River or a Gondola in Venice.
Children and childhood bear parents' anticipation all over the world.
Market and expectations communicate the intricacies of life and subsistence.
Justo's camera conveys vital and spontaneous glimpses of people – children, youngsters, men, women and elders.
Just by catching a look and a body position, we are able to grasp particular situations, since eyes and looks render deeper secrets from hearts and minds.
Each glimpse – as recorded by the photographer - contains a comprehensive phenomenon, i.e. an external physical set up loaded with inner emotions and thoughts. While catching exceptional instants, Justo has been able to deliver inner validity and appeal.
Those moments recorded draw our awareness to qualities of wisdom, beauty, grace, charm and kindness. People depicted in photos give a deeper meaning and significance to concrete life.
Justo offers a subtle and sensitive photography, that further perceptions of human conditions as found in a field or at a market.
In Flamenco photos, Justo highlights dancers that desire to surpass routine way of life and reach out for excitement and exhilaration.

Although dancers perform on stage, Justo does not lose Flamenco's touch to the ground. Dancers knock on board responding to rough folk music in resonance of old earth's voice. Those knocks and that music elevate dancers from the ground and steer them to passion and fantasy. Thru Flamenco's sounds, lights, colors and motions, Justo depicts the formation of corporal rites.
Justo diverts our attention to exciting body languages, to strong facial expressions, to gestures of fingers and stretches of arms, to the play of dresses and shawls that reflect centuries' old traditions. Justo's photos are loaded with sensuality, passion and seduction.
He plays with bright and dim nuances and through seductive moving figures - as depicted in the photos – exposes the essence of zeal and enthusiasm.
