SODA DOGGIE SUNDAY! What: Paws for a drink and help the Hong Kong dog rescue When: 1st June 2008 Time: 4 – 8pm Where: Soda. Upper Basement, Harilela House, 79 Wyndham Street, Central HK Details: 2 4 1 Drinks for people with dogs Breakdown: Since February of this year Soda has been opening its doors on one Sunday of every month to raise money for the Hong Kong Dog Rescue, we will be opening our doors again on 1st of June for all those dog lovers in Hong Kong that want to share a few bevies with their four legged friends whilst raising money for a good cause. Soda will provide 2 41 drinks all afternoon for anyone who comes along with their dog, and all we ask is that you make a donation of at least $10 when you buy a drink! The HKDR take dogs from the government kennels that are due to be destroyed and thanks to the support of dedicated volunteers and supporters they re-home the animals. Fund raising is especially important for the HKDR this year as they will be homeless starting early 2009. They need to raise roughly $1,000,000 HKD to operate the shelter. The HKDR is entirely self financed and funds are raised through events such as this one, donations and collection boxes around Hong Kong (information provided by the venue)
