Via the K-Spray International Tour presented by K-Swiss, artists are brought on tour each with their distinctive styles and their stencils, stickers, posters, markers, spray and bucket paints, to a myriad of cities throughout the globe.  With the rising success with each event, K-Spray continues for the third phase with the world’s premier iconic artists The London Police, Flying Fortress, and PEZ, flying in from Europe to embark on their first collaborative Asian tour.  K-Swiss is excited to host this 6 city tour that will be marking up Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, and Tokyo in March and April 2007!
First kicking off in September 2006, three of the world’s top stencil artists Logan Hicks (USA), Sixten (Sweden), and Phibs (Australia) swept through the cities of Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, and Bangkok.   At each leg of the tour the artists introduced the medium of stenciling to the audiences at the animated events via art exhibits and live spray installations.  The juxtaposing of the varied styles from Logan Hicks’ renowned intricate 3D masterpieces, Sixten’s passionate stenciled inspirations stemming from raw emotions, and Phib’s melding of mythology with ancient and modern culture, enthralled audiences whilst raising awareness of the ongoing evolution of urban art.  The first tour was a huge success that resulted in the recent launch of K-Swiss collaborated shoes with the artists.

The second phase of K-Spray was close behind flying in Fremantle (Paris) and shoe customizer Grand High (USA).  In addition to the multi-layer photorealistic stencil installations of Fremantle and live shoe customizations by Grand High, local stencil competitions were held in several of the cities on the 5 country tour.  Customized K-Swiss kicks from a world-wide competition were a huge draw for participants as the main décor in the cities, showcasing to the audience a variety of possibilities to get involved with street art and with the tour.   From Manila to Tokyo, the two artists night after night captivated crowds in each city.  They left behind only their masterpieces and a built up anticipation surrounding the question of which artists would be joining the ranks for the third upcoming tour.

This spring, K-Spray is thrilled to present to you The London Police (UK), Flying Fortress (Germany), and PEZ (Spain)!  The artists have been secured to debut their collaborations in major cities throughout Asia.

Check out www.k-spray.com or email for more information and details on how you can get involved

What once began as a personal self expression through artwork has begun a quiet revolution spreading on the streets then submerged onto the facades of everyday architecture and structures; human artwork altering, amending, adjusting that of another.  K-Swiss delivers this morphing of self expression and art form from the streets and into the public eye via the K-Spray International Events.  This year, K-Spray is excited to bring you the third Asian tour featuring The London Police (UK), Flying Fortress (Germany), and PEZ (Spain)!
First kicking off in September 2006, K-Spray brought three of the world’s top stencil artists Logan Hicks (USA), Sixten (Sweden), and Phibs (Australia) through the cities of Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, and Bangkok.   At each leg of the tour the artists introduced the medium of stenciling to the audiences at the animated events via art exhibits and live stencil installations.   Continuing the momentum of first K-Spray, phase two was close behind, bringing in Fremantle (Paris) and shoe customizer Grand High (USA).  In addition to the multi-layer photorealistic stencil installations of Fremantle and live shoe customizations by Grand High, local competitions were held in several of the cities on the 5 city tour.  From Manila to Tokyo the two artists captivated crowds in each city, leaving behind their masterpieces and building anticipation for the third K-Spray phase!
As the K-Spray tour rolls onward into 2007 with stencils, stickers, posters, markers, spray and bucket paints throughout the world, this time we bring to Asia three of the world’s premier iconic artists from Europe, each with their own instantly recognizable idllyic characters and whimsical personalized styles.
Currently based in Amsterdam, The London Police have built an iconic presence around the globe with their classic instantly recognizable characters the “LADS,” spreading the love through pens and stickers. www.thelondonpolice.com

The clean and precise style in creating the circular Lads are also a must to create bold Teddy Troops equipped with the necessary hardware and vivid protective gear.  The guys are ready to depart from Munich with their commander, Flying Fortress, to explore the possible expansion into Asia.  www.flying-fortress.de

Also joining the tour, PEZ began working with graffiti tags that have slowly changed into the grinning fish. The happy fish has further evolved into a variety of colorful characters that have brightened the mood of those who stroll along the streets of Barcelona.  They will now be smiling up on a building near you to transmit the good vibes in cities throughout the world. www.lawebdelpez.com
