Matt Gooderson and Richie Vernon (Infadels) will be spinning at Q97 on the 25th April (Friday) for one night only.
2008 looks set to be the Infadels year, as they return with their second album “Universe in Reverse” on ultra-hip label “Wall of Sound”. Matt & Richie (guitar/ keys- percussion) have had a extraordinarily successful 2007, DJing & Remixing themselves around the UK & Europe, to much critical acclaim. In addition to their residency @FABRIC, the dynamic duo have launched their own monthly residency at 333, Shoreditch – bringing down friends & guests such as ‘Eddie Temple Morris’, ‘Killa Kela’, ‘The Rakes’, ‘Ali Love’, ‘WrongTom’, ‘Bobbie M’ & ‘Jagz Kooner’.

Highlights of the calendar have been DJ’ing with New York dance legends ‘Fischerspooner’, “MTV is Ours” Festival in Amsterdam, Manumission Ibiza Summer 07, Boardmasters Festival, and not forgetting their tent-splitting set at Glastonbury. 2007 has definitely been ‘The Year of The Stage Invasion!’ (no kidding!)
Recent months have seen Infadel DJs remix tracks from “Felix Da Housecat (“Radio”), Shy Child (“Summer”),“Reverend & The Makers – (“The Machine”), and The Orb’s Brand-New comeback track “Vuja De”…. Coming soon the Black Francis remix & “Universe & Reverse – Fright Versions”.
The Infadels - Five young-ish men from East London. A band founded out of their love for 90's dance music & rock n'roll bands; The Stooges, The Stones & The Scream. The band is signed to 'Wall Of Sound' who are flying the flag as the one of the leading independent labels in London. Their first record 'We Are Not The Infadels', released in January 2006, was produced by Jagz Kooner (Primal Scream/ Kasabian/ Massive Attack). They quickly established themselves as darlings of the UK Indie scene, with fan-winning support slots for The Prodigy, Faithless & Hard Fi.

THE VENUE – Q97…
The verve and vibe of Q97 is based upon the pleasurable things in life and music is one of those things. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, a live jazz band will entertain guests with quality music while the atmosphere mimics a lounge bar. Our wide range of cigars, spirits and flowing vintage wines sets the mood.
By the end of the week, the addictive percolating beats of house music and the upbeat sounds of RnB / hip hop will transform Q97 into one of the most ideal places to dance and enjoy delectable cocktails. International and guest DJs will be featured at Q97 on a monthly basis and plans to host all sorts of high-end parties are on the club’s agenda.
