Hong Kong’s very own super-club, Beijing Club, just keeps on pushing the limits with the third in the series of Ministry of Sound events. This month, Beijing Club welcomes DJ Richard Murray who will be performing on the 14th of May.
Richard, who started DJing at the age of 17, made his debut with MoS in 2000. Richard was added to the MoS Tours DJ roster, after Nick Leonard, head of tours saw Richard smashing up the main bar at MoS, giving him a chance to pump out his dirty electro / tech sets to the masses.
With a multitude of achievements, Richard is also Housexy’s main resident DJ, mixing the albums and rocking parties literally right across the planet.

Richard Murray Biography 1990-1997 After switching on a pair of decks for the first time at a neighbours house party, Richard was hooked! This was back in the summer of 1990... two years later aged 17 Richard had secured his first residency in his home town of Carlisle. The following 5 years saw Richard grace the turntables across the city, running his own nights, holding residencys in 4 venues and playing guest spots in many others. 1997-2000 Three years living in Manchester forced Richard into a new arena, and it wasnt too long before he started to make his mark on the house scene in Manchester, with a residency in BarCoast, regular guest spots in Venus, and appearences in over 12 other venues, Paradise Factory, Drybar 101, Barca to name a few. 2000-present The summer of 2000 brought Richard to the big smoke, and he made his debut in the bar at the famous Ministry of Sound night Rulin the following March. HOUSEXY A chance meeting with now Housexy label manager Matt Stuart in September 04 [Matt bought a TV "with contemporary stand" from Richard] and the two became friends. In early 2005 when the Housexy project was born, Matt invited Richard to play at the very first Housexy party, warming up the bar at the world famous super club MoS. This first party was back in June 2005 and two years on Richard is now Housexy's main resident Dj, mixing the albums and rocking partys literally right across the planet. MoS TOURS Richard has also been added to the MoS Tours DJ rosta, after Nick Leonard, head of tours saw Richard smashing up the main bar at MoS, giving him a chance to pump out his dirty electro / tech sets to the masses. RADIO Richard will be on MoS Radio on a 5 weekly rotation with the other Housexy jocks {Friday's Housexy Sessions} Richard features on rotation on Bulgaria's Alpha Radio {Thursdays 5-7pm} Galaxy FM Portugal [dates and times TBC], Big Fish Manila radio [dates and times TBC], guest mixes on Fuzion radio and you can hear Richard's mixes inflight on Singapore airlines MUSIC VIDEO Richard has directed / produced three music videos to date L.E.O. - Burning Up [Gung Ho! HOUSEXY ALBUMS January 2007 saw Richard handed the reigns to the job of compiling / mixing the HOUSEXY albums... HOUSEXY International was Richard's first mix album and the sixth in the series, followed by Richard's second Housexy project HOUSEXY Summer In The City in May 2007.
