October 10th 2008 – M1NT Introduces MC Big Ali Doors: Open From 9pm Bio: Reguarded by some as one of the best party mc's ever, Big Ali is known to set any place on fire.
Born and raised in the birthplace of Hip Hop New York City (Queens to be exact) Big Ali has real passion for Hip Hop culture, music and all music in general. Big Ali has been writing his own songs since he was eight years old but has been working professionaly for only five years. Big Ali has performed all over the world and has opened for some of music's biggest stars like Usher and Nelly Furtado. He is a resident m.c. at the Cannes Film Festival every year in the south of France and also keeps a residency in St. Tropez at the very exclusive club V.I.P Room. Big Ali is also the offical host of the infamous P.Diddy party in St.Tropez every year. Big Ali travels so much he has given himself the name "Trans Champion"! Never known for being limited Big Ali has many skills he is an artist, producer, writer, Dj and can even engineer. No stranger to media Big Ali works on a number of radio shows including "Full Throttle" a syndicated radio show hosted by his good friend Fatman Scoop. He was a head writer for a syndicated show called the "Jumpoff" which was hosted by MTV legends Ed Lover and Doctor Dre. Always keeping one ear to the street Big Ali even hosts a college radio show called "The Magic Hour" at Vassar college in New York and keeps a radio station on the internet streaming 24 hours a day on vynilsquad.net. Big Ali's love for music has grown so much that he even put together his own Dj crew called the "World Famous Vynil Squad". Big Ali and his crew have made hundreds of party break records for the legendary Dj label AV8 now when you hear a record and someone shouts "put ya hands up in the air" it's probably a Big Ali record. Big Ali has worked with many international artists such as Kool Shen, Magic System, Amine and Matt Houston just to name a few.
