DJ NAKADIA
It has been only 4 years since nakadia changed the catwalk with vinyls and decks. Since then she has developed into one of the most successful female DJs touring the world. Many things have happened in only such a short time and the entire industry is stunned by the unique development of Thai DJ Nakadia. What started more as a hobby out of the love for music seems to be one of the most incredible DJ careers in history now.
The first European tours of 2004 have changed into a constant traveling situation in 2005. No less than 28 countries are on the schedule. The summer of 2005 was just another amazing highlight in the beginning career of Nakadia. Just about 60 performances in 21 countries only between April and august 2005. From the biggest festivals in Eastern Europe, via VIP parties on the Cote D Azur in France, via Ibiza to the UK and the rest of Europe, Nakadia did it all this summer. Her amazing talent and right choice of music at every location seems to amaze even the biggest icons of the industry. Co-operations with the best agencies across the globe are just at the start and according to music industry professionals predict a huge future for the little Thai girl.
Another big step in Nakadia’s career will be the first releases of her own solo records. A few first promo releases in cooperation with other artists have already been launched during the spring of 2005. Later this year her own production "Thai Groove" part 1 as well as a project with Czech Republic’s DJ of the year - Michael Burian - will be released. The releases will be influenced by nakadia DJ styles, ranging from funky house via progressive to electro house, even crossing over a few of these styles.
All the touring and producing leave not much time to stay at home. In 2005 Nakadia will only enjoy a few weeks of relaxation at her home in Koh Samui during, these also interrupted every weekend by performances in KL, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Singapore. During her stay at home on Koh Samui, Nakadia will be performing at the soon to be opened RICE club. Early in 2006 bookings include a tour of Australia, South America, the Mexico LoveParade, Winter Music Conference in Miami and some more USA gigs before heading off touring Europe again in April 2006.
