There are few truly great clubs in the world and, at their heart, you will usually find a great resident.  Zouk in Singapore is a great club and, somewhat greedily, has loads of great residents spanning a host of genres across its 3 dancefloors.  But, when it comes to floor-shaking big-room house, there’s only one man for the job: Aldrin.  The long-standing resident – quiet and unassuming in person – has let the music do the talking for him over the years, developing a global reputation; garnering praise from A-list DJs by the bucket-load (Danny Tenaglia singled him out as his ‘future hero’ in DJ Mags Top 100 poll) and, when time permits, guest at events around the world.

So, it comes as no surprise that ‘Maybe Tomorrow’, his debut single for Renaissance, alongside production partner Akien, is a rousing piece of filth-laden house that’s so sexy it would undoubtedly top Pamela Anderson were it in the Grotto at the Playboy Mansion.  This is the true marriage of East meets West - the sound of New York that’s been on holiday to Singapore and come back with a lot more attitude; a tribal booty-call fusing strings, stabs and fierce-rulin’ percussion to devastating effect.

The track comes as two mixes - a tech-inspired warm-up version (regrooved) and the big-room bomb (original), all alongside the oh-so-handy DJ tools you’ve come to know and love from Renaissance.  Watch for the break: this is one monster of a drop that puts the ‘T’ in tease and the ‘E’ in effective!

Set for release in early December; keep your eyes peeled for Aldrin at Renaissance in the UK, late January and early February…
