Diners visiting the Westin Resort Macau between 24 November and 9 December 2006 will be treated to the color and flair of Vietnam when its restaurant, Café Panorama, introduces some Saigon flavor to its a la carte and buffet menus. Visiting chefs, Lam Thi My Yen and Huynh Thi Kim Phuoc from Sheraton Saigon Hotel, will be on hand to prepare the menu’s delightful dishes, ensuring an authentic experience, stooped in the ways of old Vietnam. Traditional delicacies such as the tangy Hot & Sour Fish Soup, Vietnamese Prawn Curry and Fragrant Rice and Grilled Beef in Fragrant Leaf, will leave diners feeling warm even if the temperature begins creeping down outside with the start of the Winter on its way! Those with a sweet tooth will find their sugar rush with desserts such as the traditional Banana Fritters with Coconut Ice Cream and Palm Sugar Sauce and Sticky Rice Dumpling with Green Bean Filling in Ginger Syrup. Share with your culinary companion and choose the Vietnamese sampler which boasts a variety with Pandan Cake, Coconut Cake, Cassava Cake, Sweet Yam and Sago Soup and Agar Agar. To commemorate Café Panorama’s specially designed Vietnamese menus, the restaurant is holding a promotional lucky draw which will see one lucky entrant win a trip for two to Ho Chi Min City (Saigon) gratefully sponsored by Vietnam Airlines and a three nights accommodation with buffet breakfast at Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers. Café Panorama’s Vietnamese a la carte menu is available for lunch from Monday to Friday and dinner Monday to Thursday. The buffet dinner, priced at $248 per person for adults and $118 per person for children is available from Friday through to Sunday.
