From his early years at the now defunct Nice n Ripe label, creating a string of underground anthems that were hammered by djs from both ends of the Atlantic, Grant is one of the most established house dj and producer to come out of the UK. By the mid 90s, Grant started another label - Swing City, where he produced Negrocan’s “Cada Vez”, which became a universal smash topping even the pop charts in several countries and has so far seen worldwide sales of nearly 2 million copies. And besides remix duties for the likes of Bebel Gilberto, Frankie Knuckles, Reel People & The Brand New Heavies, he continues to spread the gospel of funky soulful house music through his gigs all over the world.
